Building Management
An environmental management system
Since 2004, the Logistic and the Communication and Sustainable Development departments set up an environmental management system to reduce resource consumption, greenhouse gas emissions and waste production:
- ISO 14001 certification obtained in 2009 (confirmed in 2010) for the operation of its buildings
- Construction of two HQE (high environmental quality) data centers. In partnership with the certifying organization, these data centers will serve as a pilot for the creation of a HQE label concerning data centers
- Waste management (paper, batteries, printer cartridges, electrical and electronic equipment)
- “Green Works Charter”, prepared with Bureau Veritas, which was set up and in use since early-2010 for two new facilities
- An “Accessibility Charter” which requires from Natixis, in addition to the regulatory requirements, to facilitate access to and use of its infrastructure for people with disabilities during the creation, extension or arrangement of its premises
