2012 C.A.M.P.U.S. Awards: “Rêve d’enfance”
With Natixis’ support, 36 sick children achieved their dream, a cruise to Corsica, from June 18 to 25.
An ambitious project
At the 2012 edition of the C.A.M.PU.S. Awards, the projects proposed by HEC students won first prize in the socio-sports category. The project consisted in organizing a cruise to Corsica for very sick children. 36 children from 9 to 17 left on June 18 for 9 days of sailing off the coasts of Corsica on board 6 sailboats.
Each sailboat also had on board a medical intern, a skipper and 2 students from the business school. The purpose of this initiative that the students from HEC have been supporting for several years is to help children fight their illness and build self-confidence.
Day after day, the young people discovered the pleasures of sailing and learnt how to maneuver.
