The annual performance appraisal and skills assessment review
The annual performance appraisal and skills assessment review provide an opportunity for an in-depth discussion between the manager and the employee. For this meeting, the past year’s accomplishments are reviewed and targets are set for the coming year. The meeting is an opportunity to review the employee’s activity and discuss his or her skills development.
The appraisal also looks at the employee’s professional development and career plans.
Held every three years on average, career reviews are an opportunity for in-depth exchanges of views between employees and Human Resources managers. These interviews make it possible to:
- review employment performance and skills,
- consider the employee’s professional development,
- approve, where applicable, career and/or job mobility tracks and implement a suitable action plan,
- receive HR advice
