Promoting and facilitating the integration of young people into the banking and financial world

Natixis is committed to the principle of equal opportunity and supports the project of “Nos Quartiers ont des Talents”, a French organization that helps young people from distressed neighborhoods who have a French baccalaureate degree plus four years of higher education find employment and become integrated into the workforce.

Practically speaking?

Some 30 managers from the executive committees of Natixis’ business lines and subsidiaries volunteer as sponsors. They offer guidance to a young adult in formalizing his or her career plans through regular discussions. The sponsors share their professional experiences with the prospective employees and provide them with access to their professional networks.

Mutual benefits

These meetings are a wealth of information for both the recent graduates and for Natixis.

The meetings provide the recent graduates with advice and tips about how to land their first job, help them improve their job application materials (resume, cover letter) and prepare for recruiting interviews. Through these discussions, recent graduates can tailor their plans to business lines that are hiring and develop their professional networks.

For sponsors, supporting recent graduates during a strategic period of their professional life is a satisfying experience from a managerial and personnel development perspective.
