Our commitment: strive to integrate workers with disabilities and support their continued employment

On March 7, 2011, Natixis bolstered its commitment to workers with disabilities by signing an agreement certified by DIRECCTE, the French governmental agency concerned with companies, competition, consumption, occupational matters and employment.

This agreement focuses in particular on the hiring, occupational integration and continued employment of workers with disabilities as well as working together with the sheltered sector. It also includes an entire set of measures aimed
at raising awareness to the consequences of disabilities in order to dispel stereotypes and make this topic a part of the company’s workplace culture. 

Our commitments to the occupational integration of workers with disabilities

The signature of the company-level agreement binds all Natixis entities in France. It calls for several measures to :

  • facilitate the hiring of people with disabilities;
  • integrate disabled workers and maintain their employment;
  • conduct awareness-raising and training programs for company personnel directly involved in working with the disabled workers and all other employees;
  • promote outsourcing and seeking to form partnerships with the sheltered and adaptive services sector;
  • support employees who are parents or spouses of people with disabilities.
