CA DO CARTE Interview with Éric Pégulu, Corporate Secretary of Titres Cadeaux

[Éric Pégulu]

« Titres Cadeaux is a joint subsidiary of both Natixis and Banque Postale that specializes in prepaid gift solutions for businesses and individuals. Since its creation in 2006, we’ve offered our “CA DO CHEQUE” gift vouchers, which look like this, to professionals, as well as small- and medium-size businesses that, until now, had limited resources. »

« Today, this segment is the most dynamic and is still showing strong growth potential. Companies use the gift vouchers as a form of additional compensation to motivate their employees and help build loyalty. This solution is in fact more financially attractive than a bonus because it qualifies for an exemption of social security contributions. Thanks to Natixis’ expertise in payment methods, we have been able to very quickly create a new offer to complement our CA DO CHEQUES called the CA DO CARTE. CA DO CARTE is a prepaid multi-brand gift card that is more secure than cheques and allows customers to choose the gift amount themselves. This is what the product looks like.

« I spoke to you about its technical features. The fact that the card uses Visa technology allows the solution to be immediately operational for our partner retailers, and best of all, it requires no financial investment. »

Why have you launched CA DO CARTE?

[Éric Pégulu]

« The CA DO CARTE enables us to reach a new clientele, in particular individuals. For them, it’s a gift solution that is sure to please the recipient since it can be used to pay for whatever he or she chooses throughout an extensive network of national brands. CA DO CARTE does not involve any additional purchase charges and is as easy to use as a prepaid bank card since there is no code or account linked to it. Today, they are available at post offices and Caisse d’Epargne branch offices. This makes it very widely available throughout France. »

Do you have plans to expand the offer?

[Éric Pégulu]

« In this market, innovation is essential. We’re going to expand our offer with different products, in particular theme-based ones. For example, we’re thinking about ideas such as gift cards for the birth of a baby or fashion gift cards. And all the new payment methods that are emerging, such as the wireless payment, will surely prove to be growth-drivers for us in the future. »
