2012 C.A.M.P.U.S. Awards: "Tous fans de la Toscane !"
Thanks to the support of Natixis, 13 teenagers from problem areas of Saint-Étienne had the opportunity to visit Tuscany from April 10 to 19.
An ambitious project
The great winner of the C.A.M.P.U.S. Awards in the socio-cultural category handed out on February 8 by Laurent Mignon, the Tous fans de la Toscane project managed by Min’ au loin, an organization from École nationale supérieure des Mines of Saint-Étienne, kept its promises. The tour featured Florence and its monuments, Pisa, Sienna, as well as bowling, football (soccer) and Italian cuisine.
A rich experience
Aged from 12 to 15, the teenagers were accompanied by 2 counselors and 2 students. They were particularly interested in the monuments and the cathedrals. According to Cyrille François, one of the accompanying students, the visits triggered discussions on culture and religions and were very rewarding for all participants.
A motivating success for Natixis
As a result of this success and that of the five other projects supported by Natixis in 2012, we will renew the experience and organize another C.AM.P.U.S. Awards call for student projects in 2013. Meet you in the fall to file your applications.
