Responsible Purchasing

Incorporation of social and environmental criteria in our purchases

The purchasing direction has consistently improved its responsible purchasing policy. It undertakes to include more social and environmental criteria throughout the purchasing process.

Selection of products and suppliers

Since 2007, social and environmental criteria have been formalized in a “Responsible Purchasing Reference Document” for buyers and prescribers. The criteria are monitored on a regular basis to be in line with any changes in regulation, updates in reference labels and market good practices.

For instance, sustainable development clauses have been included in contracts since 2007.

Supplier awareness and monitoring

The Purchasing department works in partnership with ÉcoVadis to draw up surveys on sustainable development practices aof its main suppliers.

Natixis also has a supplier charter, a section of which is dedicated to sustainable development.
