Natixis Assurances receives a Bronze Top Com award in the “Corporate or BtoB Public Relations” category

This prize rewards the “L’aire de la Sérénité” event organized last summer by Natixis Assurances for the Banque Populaire regional banks. This unprecedented and innovative prevention action was highly successful with close to 3,000 car drivers who stopped and enjoyed the relaxing area.

An action rewarded at the 2014 TOP/COM Grands prix Corporate Business 2014

During the Corporate Communications Congress held by l'Expression/COM in February, the 2014 Corporate Business Top Com trophies were awarded for best communications actions and achievements in the year. The jury, made up of 62 professionals and experts in the areas of marketing, communications and HR, rewarded the best operations in some thirty categories.

Murielle Vermenot, in charge of External Communications and Event Management and Dominique Forget, Head of Bancassurance Development at Natixis Assurances defended the "Serenity rest area" project to this jury of experts, facing other competitors from different backgrounds.
They won the Bronze TOP/COM in the "Corporate or BtoB Public Relations" category.

The "Serenity" rest area: a novel prevention action

On July 5 to 7 and August 16 to 18, 2013, Natixis Assurances launched a special operation for people traveling on highway A6 in France, who were welcomed by Banque Populaire representatives to the "Serenity" rest area. Because it is important to take a break every two hours when on the road, people were invited to stop and relax at the rest areas of Beaune Tailly (coming from Paris) and Beaune Merceuil (coming from Lyon), 319 km from Paris.

Free services were provided to families in this 150 sq.m. relaxing space:

  • deckchairs and cushions, a water bar, a wellness area, a painting workshop for children
  • 3 road risk information and prevention stands including 2 "eco-driving" simulators, a quiz on 2 iPad information points and an information/prevention point.

Drivers were informed via radio on channel Autoroute INFO 107.7 during the whole operation and 150 posters were displayed on the way to the Beaune rest area. Overall, over 3,000 vacationers enjoyed the special services at the "Serenity rest area and approved the initiative!

Close to 3,000 vacationers stopped to have a rest while traveling on highway A6.

The operation will be repeated in the summer of 2014.
