C.A.M.P.U.S. Awards: Vive les
vacances !

At the fourth edition of the C.A.M.P.U.S Awards, Natixis rewarded the Vive les Vacances ! [Long live the holidays!] socio-cultural project supported by students from EDHEC.

Taking children on a trip to Bruges

Natixis' support enabled the non-profit Vive les Vacances ! to organize a cultural trip to Bruges for 50 children taken care of throughout the year.
During this first-ever outing, the children discovered various parts of the town. The visit to the Historium Museum transported them back to the medieval Bruges: sights, sounds, smells... The group also took a canal boat tour through the "Venice of the North", enjoying the sight of swans and ducks along the way!

"Thanks to Natixis, these children, many of whom had never gone to another country, spent a memorable day visiting the "Venice of the North", said one of the project initiators.

Vive les Vacances ! in a nutshell

Vive les Vacances ! is a student organization, made up of 40 volunteers, which has been working for 22 years with community social centers of the Lille conurbation.

The goal of Vive les Vacances ! is to facilitate the integration of deprived children from the Lille region, to introduce them to community life and to encourage their self-reliance. To achieve this goal, the non-profit organization sets up academic support throughout the year and organizes cultural trips to arouse the children's curiosity and sense of discovery. Approximately 120 children benefit from this action every year.
