Everyone has been waiting with baited breath for Dan Carter’s opening matches wearing the White and Blue jersey and the All Blacks’ former fly-half and twice-winner of the Rugby World Championships in 2011 and 2015 has definitely come up with the goods.

Last Saturday in Colombes, Racing 92 scored a resounding win over Northampton Saints (33-3) during the third day of the European Rugby Champions Cup.

Carter showed his customary nerves of steel, making fluid passes and converting 3 out of 4 tries. Racing 92's star recruit was every bit as good as his trademark reputation and played without forcing his superb talent. He was subbed off to cheers in the 64th minute. Carter was named "Man of the Match" and immediately dedicated the award to the whole team.

The Racingmen also returned to their top level by delivering a class match and completely crushing a helpless Saints line-up. Thanks to 5 tries by Chavancy, Ben Arous, Dulin (x2) and Imhoff, the team even notched up an attacking bonus point to dominate Pool 3.
