Racing 92 defeated Clermont 34-33 in the Top 14 competition semi-final on Friday, 17 June in Rennes. Racing will play its first Top 14 final in Barcelona, seven years after joining ranks with rugby's elite.

Roazhon Park in Rennes played host to a heart-stopping match. At the 98th minute, Racing's winger Juan Imhoff scored an amazing breakaway try. Dan Carter then slotted over the crucial conversion to seal Racing 92's victory. What a match! It had everything: great play, two top-notch teams, incredible strategy and an almost unheard-of match deadlock which in the end produced a nail-biting finish that will remain in everyone's memory for years to come.

"Beautiful rugby is all about guts and determination" said Laurent Travers, Racing 92's co-coach.

Racing will face Toulon, the winner of the other semi-final, at Barcelona’s Camp Nou stadium on June 24.
