Natixis reiterates its commitment to fighting cancer as part of the Movember* event
In November, Natixis is inviting employees to act in support of men’s health and will match their donations to the Gustave Roussy Foundation, which it has been supporting since 2011.
Natixis, sponsor of the Gustave Roussy Foundation
Since 2011, Natixis has been supporting the Gustave Roussy Foundation and more specifically several cancer research teams.
Natixis’ support enables Gustave Roussy, the leading European cancer research center, to welcome new skills and to further cancer treatment research in order to improve patient care and quality of life.
Movember: Natixis staff takes action against cancer
For the Movember event, Natixis is taking several initiatives:
- A group on its corporate social network.
A group dedicated to its sponsorship of the Gustave Roussy Foundation is available to all employees who so wish. During Movember, contributors are invited to send their photos of mustaches and to answer quizzes to increase the amount of the donations that Natixis will then transfer to the research teams of Gustave Roussy.
- Two in-house events at end-November
Several fun workshops will be organized in two Paris buildings. During their lunch break, employees will have the opportunity to get information and act against cancer. Their participation in the workshops (a game, a photo booth, a research laboratory, etc.) will make it possible to collect donations for the benefit of Gustave Roussy's research teams.
* The name “Movember” derives from a blend of the abbreviation of “moustache” and “November”. In November each year, men around the world are invited to grow moustaches to support the fight against men’s diseases such as prostate cancer.
