2013 C.A.M.P.U.S. Awards - Focus on K.E.Y.: winner in the socio-cultural category
Thanks to the support of Natixis, several high-school students have already benefitted from 620 hours of academic support and had the opportunity to visit capital cities of Europe.
An ambitious humanitarian project
Students of the organization Enactus l’IÉSEG* won first prize at the 2013 C.A.M.P.U.S. Awards in the socio-cultural category with their “Keep Empowering the Youth” project. This organization offers young volunteers academic support and cultural outings. More than 10 events were organized during the school year. Students visited the WWII museum, the Cupola of Helfaut, the slag heaps of Loos-en-Gohelle. They also attended a prevention and sports discovery day. The members of the organization and the students also visited Brussels and London and will visit Versailles in mid-May.
A growing organization
For a few months now, members of K.E.Y. have been working at developing the organization to become less dependent on subsidies and to ensure its continued existence. The idea is to create awareness with high-school students of environmental challenges using fun activities starting at the beginning of the next school year.
