Natixis Interépargne: expertise and innovation serving employee savings

Companies and investors’ expectations as regards the financial management of employee savings focus both on retirement and long-term savings and on management transparency and durability. These are the two priority issues in the innovation strategy of Natixis Interépargne, no. 1 in employee savings.

Regularly reviewed financial management

The financial crisis has shaken the investors’ confidence in the capacity of retirement regimes to guarantee a minimum deferred income, which requires efficient solutions in the field of financial management.
Guided management systems offered as part of the collective retirement savings plans (Perco) must fully act as a buffer in a context of financial markets that are structurally more volatile and subject to more frequent shocks.
That is why Natixis Interépargne and Natixis Asset Management regularly test the resilience and relevance of the funds managed, and if necessary, adjust their investment offering or process.

A full range of solutions

To face up to these challenges, Natixis Interépargne and Natixis Asset Management also offer for the Perco a full range of guided management solutions based on a common management model which has three purposes:

• secure the savings invested while taking account of market changes,
• integrate a wider diversification in terms of asset classes and geographic zones,
• provide flexibility for the manager.

As an addition, a guaranteed-capital solution dedicated to retirement (Avenir Garanti Retraite) was designed specifically for the most risk-sensitive savers.

Socially responsible investment (SRI) solutions

Developing innovative SRI solutions is also a major concern for Natixis to meet the requirements of companies, employees and labor and management partners that wish to give meaning to their investments.

Natixis Interépargne and Natixis Asset Management have many strengths in this area:
● No. 1 in France for solidarity employee savings management1  and creation, in 2013, of the 1st SRI mutual fund dedicated to employee savings in the governance of which Comité Intersyndical de l’Epargne Salariale (CIES) is involved (2013).
● No. 2 European manager of SRI open-end funds and of social entrepreneurship funds2

In 2012, with more than 25 years’ experience in solidarity-based and SRI management, Natixis Asset Management pooled all its SRI resources within a single division, Mirova, which offers a responsible management mode that combines value creation and sustainable development, especially in employee savings.
